The wind is blowing out of the north-west like crazy right now. It's got to be a steady 35 - 40 mph, with crazy gusts that have to be in excess of 60. There was one a few minutes ago that had to be closer to 80, it pushed against this old pile of a house so hard the the living room door unlatched and opened by itself. The cones from the huge spruce trees in the front are hitting the house like someone throwing baseballs. I'm going to go hide upstairs under the covers...
