The fires are believed to have been started by arsonists, which brings to mind this, from Jihad Watch... It wouldn't surprise me one little bit to find out some sixth century scumbag is behind this. I wouldn't want to be a follower of the "religion of peace" living in Australia if that is found to be the case...
