as promised...


as promised, here's a picture of one of my bearded iris', which have appeared almost overnight, thanks to the alternating days of rain and sun and heat. I find them to be quite beautiful. Their period of bloom is quite short, when compared to most flowers, they last two days at the most and then fade away overnight to a wilted, drooping mess. They are pretty, though, do you agree? Quite sensual, as well... makes me wish I was a bumble bee...
