As usual, the screeching wheel has gotten slathered with grease rendered from the boiled down fat of those who sit on their lazy asses and do nothing...
The usual crowd of religious zealots have, once again, struck a blow in the name of Holy Good and have convinced the United States government to change the name of a highway, because they feel that it is "too satanic". There will no longer be a feeder road to the venerable old Route 66 with the name "I 666".
It amazes me to no end how religious doctrine is constantly bent and distorted to satisfy the twisted reasoning of those who think they know what they are talking about. If they had taken the time to read the passage referring to "666" in the bible, they would see that it is a sign from God, not Satan and it will appear on either the forehead or arm of the antichrist, as a warning that we better keep an eye on this one, or at least expect him/her to be a headliner at the next Ozzfest... I really don't think that 666 on a damned road sign out in the middle of West Bumfuddle is something to worry about...
I'm getting as sick of radical Christians as I am of radical Muslims, Zionists and Druids.
Maybe Satan and his pals are already among us, disguised as the leaders of the good and the just, dragging everyone down the road of hatred in the name of his old pal and former employer, God...
I think the time devoted to moronic pursuits like this might be better spent in trying to rectify some of the real wrongs in the world rather than pussyfooting around harping on bullshit like this...
