It's time to start working up to Thursday, Tartan Day, as well as The Gathering of the Blogs. Being blessed with mostly Scots blood and, having been exposed to the lives and life styles of first generation Scots early in my life, I find that in spite of a half century plus of other influences, I constantly draw upon that heritage and those experiences without even realizing how often I do so. Over the next few days, culminating on Thursday and maybe beyond, I will dig deep into that bag of memories and try, through mere words, to convey how being born of such ilk has made me who I am today. (Geez, at least there's someone I can blame this mess of a life on!).
