I decided to take the afternoon off today and do something therapeutic, like mow the grounds around The Manor and while I was taking a break, one of these decided to introduce itself to the back of my neck...

After smashing it to jelly, uttering here to fore unheard oaths and performing a colorful interpretation of a surely forgotten Eastern European folk dance, I treated it with a few ice cubes and will further medicate myself against horrible infection later on by consuming a Herculean quantity of stout. I think I will shall survive.
In other news, I'm still in a bit of a funk, but stop by tomorrow for a new Saturday's Goth Girl and maybe some pithy commentary, too. Or not.
