BZZZZZZZZT..!!!!!!!!


Well, the wiring for the living room floor radiant heating is installed, hooked up to the circuit breaker box and is currently undergoing testing to see if the floor actually gets warm, before I stuff everything into the box in the wall and seal it up. I really, really hate screwing around with electricity. You can hurt yourself pretty badly if you don't pay attention to what you're doing with working with woodworking tools, working on a roof, or doing any of the other myriad tasks the DIY homeowner undertakes, but one little stupid slip up can have the most dire consequences when you fool around with the power of Thor...



Having a healthy dose of respect and not a little fear of electricity will go a long way for you...

Ok, just was down crawling around on my hands and knees, the area of the floor over the heating pads is definitely getting warmer. You can tell the difference between the area around the perimeter of the room where the heating pads don't reach and the center of the room. No more cold toes! YAY!!!
