I have a very strong connection with this impoverished nation through a dear friend, Samuel Dalembert, of the Philadelphia 76'rs. While the government of Haiti is steeped in corruption, it is the people who suffer and right now, because of yesterday's earthquake, the conditions there are unimaginable.
